2. Can I Get A Bid Over The Phone?
Not usually, it's to hard to guess what heating and cooling equipment is the right size for your home. I come out and do a heat load calculation to figure out what size the equipment is and give you a firm bid.

4. How Many Bids Should I Get?
No more than 3 estimates. I have found that some of the people I have dealt with have been very frustrated, some are getting 5-7 estimates. I do not recommend this.

5. Why Is There Such A Big Price Difference between Companies?

If you find when your are getting your estimates and 2 out of the 3 companies are substantially higher in price, it may be the difference in the brand name or the effeciency of the units.

Be sure to always compare apples to apples.

6. I have A Fairly Big Home Approx 4500 Sq Feet Is It Better With One Or Two Furnaces?
I have found that most of the time the people that put to furnaces in there home are happier in the long run. If you can not afford a seperate system during new construction make sure you plan for one down the road alot of utility rooms are very compact and do not have room after the fact.
